Valentines in China and their anniversaries
気づいたら、もうこんな時間だった。
I have been spending bad days since March began.
There is more uncertainty in this world. When it become more unpredicted, I got more concerns about the certain things like anniversaries.
My friend told me it's so called 'white valentine's day', on which guys should express their love to the girls whom them fall in love with.
I was not so into those days, anniversaries or festivals. More I care about is how people have been keeping celebrating those special days for years and centries.
So I look back into the people, who gave those days the particular meanings and made everyone get anniversaries to feel that world isn't changing so much in trends of the unknown.

Lantern festival 元宵节 1st month, 15th
Lantern fest already became a day for families, which was a total beloveds' day in ancient time in China. It was the only day that females were allowed to celebrate on the streets and search their Mr Right by themselves.
Who became the valentine of lantern fest was an emperor of Han Dynasty. He decided to light up the buddies lights at the first full moon of new year.
Double Third Day 三月三 third month, third
For welcome of spring, people are going into the nature. It becomes a chance to meet each other for young men and women.
The valentine of this day could be goddess of spring, who brings this world hope and power in spring.
The day becomes less important now. The most people don't celebrate it except some region of minorities. Their tradition is to have singing battle against the opposite sexes. If the male group shows their power of singing, they can have women's heart of love as spoils of battle.
Double Seventh Day 七夕节 7th month, 7th
It's a tradition to watch Altair and Vega in the night of this day. It's a day caused by number 7 and these two constellations. So the valentines of this day is Altair and Vega, which are named under people's names, bullsman 牛郎 and spinningswoman 织女, as well as have a legend for this day.
It's a long story suitable for the scenery under grape tree on a starry night.

Valentine's Day 14th. Feb.
So it's known as the sacrifice of a priest, who fell into love with a nun, which was forbidden under the regal of christism. He was burned in a pillar by the church, but what he did (loving a sister) had been encouraging people till now.
In China we celebrate it by giving presents. Mostly men give to ladies, because Chinese men have to be sacrificed more╮(‵▽′)╭ And Japanese ladies cook chocolate for the 'valentines' in the old time according to my knowledge. I like this way pretty much since I don't know how to cook chocolate.
White Day 14th. March.
How could this day become another valentine's day is a mystery to me. My google said that its origin was a candy shop of Fukuoka. I want to please my Fukuoka specialist find the answer for me.
After all, this day became a day that the present receivers of the valentines day should give back another present to whom gave them present to show their love back. In China ladies should give back their present if them love the men.
520 Day 我爱你日 20th, May
Since 520's pronunciation is familiar with I love you in Chinese, 520 acted as a addition of beloved's festival. Men are sad on this day. It's another day that ladies can ask their boyfriends for presents, but men who don't have girlfriend can equally choose to say their love loud on this special day.
bachelor's day 光棍节 11th, November
Four Arabic numbers of one is familiar to 4 bachelors, so people in Internet called this day as bachelor's day. At first it's for the bachelor to shout their unsatisfy, while male bachelor and female bachelor meet each other and decide to fight together, they become together.
Nowadays, there are a lot of promotions for Chinese people on this day, which can easily be another good day for asking present. Chinese men are lucky(not me), they got more than three days to show their love by sending present and celebrating the anniversaries of known and unknown valentines, who are the treasure of giving us the meanings of one and another ordinary days.

19歳の時、屋台でおでんを食べながら「自分を構成しているものとは何か、何のためにあなたは生きるのか」という哲学ごっこをした。
私は「愛することと、向上心」だと答えた。
問いかけた人はそれを聞いて、眩しさと暖かさを混ぜてふたつに割ったみたいな、とても優しい顔をした。
なんにも知らず、ただ何となく浮かんだ無鉄砲な言葉で、でもそれは同時に、目の前の透き通った綺麗な人に対する、あのとき精いっぱいの背伸びだったと思う。
10年の時を経て、あの問いの答えは具体性と現実味を増した。
あのころ、直感だけで見ていた掴みようのない光の線や束が、手に触れられる何か重さがあるものとして、目の前に存在している。
愛することは、日々の仕事を通してお客様にどう喜んで貰えるか、考えることとよく似ている。体力とは違って、尽きることなく循環する心の力。
向上心は、出来なかったことが出来る様になっていく過程を喜ぶこと、出来ないことの悔しさを原動力に変えて突き進む力、
19の私が口にした、向上心は、すなわち強烈なコンプレックスの裏返しだったのだけれど、
29の私が見ている向上心は、出来ることが増えるその先に、喜んでもらえることの数も増えていくから、結局のところ、愛と向上心と、この2つの力はゆっくり円を描きながら柔らかく循環している。
形も色も質量も、あの頃とは全く異なった捉え方で、私は今、私の根幹を感じている。
ずっと途切れずに、私をここに繋いでくれた線。
これは遡ってみると確かに手に取れるけれど、例えば39とか49とかその先へ結ぼうとしてみても、ふわっと切れて霞む虹のしっぽのように、捉えることは出来ない。
ただ、形を変えてつながっていくということがただ一つ解る確かなことで、それで充分なのだろう。
英語でこれを自由自在に書けたらいいのにな、、、

An Article of the Article
I told her something about the use of article today.
Either in our first language, Chinese or Japanese, has this kind of use of article.
In Chinese we usually use word familiar with this or that to point out something or someone we want to point out. I'm not sure how Japanese treat the particular things in their sentences. All I know is that they make such a sentence:
みかんを ３個 ください。
So I think article will be a problem between both of us.
Try to imagine that the article 'the' is a special crown for a special thing or person that you have a plan about it or you got his imagine in your brain.
Or it is the only thing or he is the only person you know in this world. The 日本, there is the only Japan on the earth. But people don't use any article in front of names of place. Fukuoka, China.
Oh, the united States? We can say either it's not a really name of place. There are places like New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles, which are combined together to make an union that runs as a country. But it's not a kind of place.
Things like the European union, the Soviet Union, are in the same story.
'The' should also be used in ordinal numerals, the words like the first, the third and so on. Never forget to use 'the' in superlative degree, words like highest, most and last.
I bet, she is the best!
In between, the article 'a' is the hard part. But I think she can surpass this during more and more reading and speaking process.
But just remember to use 'a' in front of singulars but not use it in front of any plural.
After all, 'the' you are a girl in Fukuoka, and the only marshmallow in the world.
Warm Air and Cold Air
I am not sure if you know the huge quantity of rain during the season's changing is coursed by encountering between warm air and cold air.
There are full of vapour in either the cold air and the warm. The vapour in one of those 2 kinds of air will condense into drops of water when one of the temperamental air kinds crashes another. We often say '一场秋雨，一场寒' in Chinese, means once it rains in autumn, it will become a little colder.
Same to the rain in the cross road of winter and spring. We can already pickle tea buds in our teagarden. If there is any chance, I would like to show you that scenery of the ever first pickling of those elves in the spring.
That I have mentioned to you, in fact I dreamed about you this morning. You didn't ask me about the details and I didn't tell you during working in my office instead.
But when I brewed my coffee in pause, it suddenly came to me that I had such a strong feeling inside this kind of weather in my dream in the coming spring. I had to fly away because of the NCoV and I came to you when you had been in the southern Chinese city Hainan for no reason. 今日の日本語：お供え
教科書には載っていないけれど、私の日常で、ユーモアと共に使われているちょっとした日本語を紹介するコーナーです(*´ω｀*)(今できた)
たのしい気持ちになるようなものを集めるね。
今日の日本語：お供え
これは本来、お墓参りや仏壇に手を合わせるとき、ご先祖様に向けて供えるものであって、亡くなった人に向ける贈り物である。
が、私たちの家では少し異なった使われ方をする。
用法：
母の部屋の前に、食べてほしいお菓子をそっと置き、母が部屋に居て忙しくなさそうであれば、手を2回叩き、声を出してこう言う。
「大好きなお母さまが健康でありますように！」
母が部屋から出てくる。
「まだ死んでないわい」
ここまでがセットである。
要するに私がこれをするときは、ちょっと構ってほしいのである。
逆の用法もしばしば起こり、時々母の置手紙が私の部屋の前にある。
”娘へのお供えが冷蔵庫にあるよ”
真夜中に帰宅して、リビングのテーブルには私へのお供えが時々置かれているが、犯人が父母のいずれであるかは、手紙がなくとも一瞬でわかる。
母：主に私が好きなおやつ、ちょっとずつ色々、みかん1個など
パパ：おでんの鍋、カレーの鍋、みかんは袋ごと(たまに3袋)
パパ大雑把すぎる( ´∀｀ )
あなたの娘はお相撲さんではないので全部食べ切れません。
これはまだ仲良くない人に使うと不謹慎な言葉なんだけど、仲の良い間柄ではちょっとした愛のあるジョークとして許されるのである。
Today's Japanese word is "Osonae"
This is the food offerings for people who passed away.We do this Osonae when we visit ancient grave or Butsudan,household altar.
The classic things are a cup of Sake,manjyu,rakkangashi.
And also we can be use this word for god.
When you visit Shrine,you can see many Osonae in front of god.
But this word Osonae is used in another way in my family.
HOW TO USE:
I offer some sweets in front of my mother's room and clap my hands twice,like doing for kamisama,and say it.
"I hope my mather lives with health and a lot of happiness."
So she come out from her room and say it like this,
"I'm alive"
This is standard pattern and when I do this I want her attention or laughing for me.
Of course this offering often happens mother to daughter conversely.
There is sometimes mother's letter in front of my room.
”Osonae is in refrigerator”
There are some Osonae on our table in livingroom when I get home at midnight.
I can find which person do this quickly because...
Mother:mainly okashi I like,cookies,marshmallows,candies,an orange.
Father:full of Oden in a pot,full of carry in a big pot,and oranges in a big net.
Do you know your daughter is not a sumo wrestler,Papa?
This word Osonae is maybe inappropriate to use to not fammilier people,but it can be used to trustworthy people.
幼いころに、落雁菓子を見て母に尋ねたことがある。
「お墓に持っていくお菓子は、あんまりおいしくなさそう。もっと色々美味しいお菓子があるのに、どうしてこれにするの？」
「何を持っていくかが重要なんじゃないのよ、神様やご先祖様は、そこに込められた人間の想いが嬉しいの。だから綺麗な気持ちでいつもありがとうございますって、お祈りするのよ。それが、ご先祖様や神様にとっては、とても美味しいお菓子なの」
今大人になって改めて、「神様のおやつ」みたいな一個の人間で生きていきたいなと思う。
神様が食べてみても、お腹壊さないおやつ( ´ ▽ ` )
Scattered words.
I kept reading till the rainy dawn.
I was reading her recommended book written by Mr Inanori Kazuo, 'Ikikata', which is also translated as 'the living way' while the birds out of the window started singing.
She had mentioned that she likes the expressing way in Japanese by Mr Inanori, in which language I could not enjoy the beautiful expression for my lack of Japanese language ability right now. I can still feel something different through the translation in Chinese. Anyway, his mind seems to be very open through his opinion that he presented by this book to us.
As a small character in a mini manufacturing system, I did be stirred by his management concept and his view of life after I closed this book.
I reminded myself of my little younger time when I could achieve in every event when I wanted to achieve. But I have done a lot of offer to learn how to swim in the year of 2017. And the year became my start point of learning and studying by keeping my feet on the ground. Then I realized, if I want to be a man who has his gentility and artisan spirit, he must pay his offer to make himself such a completed human dignity.
We get courage when anything succeed. And we also get lost when things do not go smoothly.
Just remember to do one thing step by step. If you are tired, get rest. If you are hungry, then eat. Just remember to do, to complete it. It always can not be too late to achieve your aim.
